About Us
ArtsBridge was established in 2010 to promote
intercultural exchange. Its first project in 2011 was a tour
of the Moscow Sovremennik Theatre with productions of
The Cherry Orchard, Into the Whirlwind, and Three Sisters
staged by Galina Volchek at the Noël Coward Theatre in
the West End.
The next project was a 2012 tour of Uncle Vanya by the
Vakhtangov State Academic Theatre, brought to the stage
by Rimas Tuminas, also at the Noël Coward Theatre.
The current tour of Pushkin’s Eugene Onegin by the
Vakhtangov State Academic Theatre and directed by
Rimas Tuminas is a joint project in partnership with
the Barbican.
The company’s philosophy is to support cultural dialogue
by promoting art projects that are of unique value both to
the theatrical world and to the arts in general.
